My approach emphasises creating a safe, nurturing environment where clients can explore their feelings and experiences without judgment. By fostering open communication and building trust, I strive to empower clients to take an active role in their healing journey. I integrate mindfulness techniques and coping strategies tailored to each individual's needs, while providing education about the implications of trauma on mental health.
I am committed to ongoing learning ensuring I stay informed about best practices, allowing me to offer compassionate, culturally sensitive care that acknowledges and respects each person's unique story. I believe in your strength and resilience, and here to support you every step of the way.
I offer you a warm, welcoming and confidential, safe and private space to explore what is causing you concern. I will listen with compassion, without judgment, respecting your unique experiences. Together, we will navigate your thoughts, feelings and challenges at a pace that feels right for you, ultimately working towards a clearer understanding of your individual goals and needs in therapy.
I have worked with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds, cultures, genders and age groups. Each person's unique life experiences shape their journey. I provide a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel seen, heard and understood, with encouragement to explore what has brought you to counselling.

Testimonials
"Lynne is exactly what a counsellor should be; she is warm and sharply insightful at the same time as being nurturing and supportive. Her gentle but firmly challenging approach enabled me to untangle all the emotions I was experiencing and to recognise the changes I needed to make in order to regain my sense of self. I would recommend Lynne to my dearest family and friends. Thank you."
"Thank you so much for listening and helping me over the past eight weeks. Without your help and assistance, I don’t think I would be anywhere near how I am today. You are a great listener and sympathetic where needed but also good at getting me to identify things about myself that I hadn’t realised before. I felt at ease with you from our very first session and felt very comfortable telling you things I’ve never told anyone before. Thank you for being supportive and for helping bring the good old me back to life. You truly are great at your job."
"After working with Lynne for some time, I have found her to be very professional, boundaried, positive and caring. Within therapy with Lynne, I worked with my past, and we worked through it, and I now have a much more positive outlook for my future. Lynne was there for each step, she believed and listened to everything I wanted to share. She has made me believe that I am
the main character in the book' and I am forever grateful."
"I can't believe at 58 I'm finally beginning to understand why I act the way I do. The therapist always asked me if I felt safe and I was happy to come every session. I learnt I have the right to choose, that I have choices."
